Assert Row Counts

Assert that the row counts of table(s) match expectations.

Assert Row Counts

This shared job loops through the grid variable supplied and uses a Matillion ETL Assert Table component internally to verify the row counts.

Parameters

DatabaseName of source Database. Set to ${environment_database} to use the environment default
SchemaName of source Schema. Set to ${environment_default_schema} to use the environment default
Table existsSet to Yes to check that the table exists
Comparison TypeChoose Equal to, Greater than or equal to or Less than or equal to
TablesA grid variable with two columns: table_name and row_count (numeric)

Prerequisites

Assertions only work on tables: not views.
