Minimal configuration required to run a dbt core model from a Data Productivity Cloud pipeline.

This page demonstrates the absolute minimal Data Productivity Cloud setup required to run a dbt core model.

To run the dbt core model, open and run the dbt_core_orchestrate pipeline. It will create a table named example in your default database and schema.

Matillion automatically creates a profile that connects to the Cloud Data Platform in the Environment being used. There is no need to configure a profile yourself.

The screenshot shows where you would complete the pipeline by adding extract-and-load steps, plus more transformation and integration. You are free to deploy a mixture of dbt core and Matillion data transformation components.
